United States of America

Our first first drive-thru food drive of the season is Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to noon in the bus loop of Pittsford Sutherland High School. The club is doing the drives the first Saturday of every month through next spring.

The Oct. 1 drive will benefit the Pittsford Food Cupboard, Cameron Community Ministries and the Nazareth College Oak Tree Food Pantry. Rotarians will be collecting items, rain or shine.

The Pittsford Food Cupboard particularly needs collard greens; spinach; beets; olives; lima beans; mushrooms; pizza sauce; jalapenos; green chiles; Beef-A-Roni; spaghetti sauce; peanut butter; 100% juice; dry cat food; crushed, stewed, pureed or whole tomatoes; sardines; Spam; sausage; corned beef hash; clams; mackerel; herring; oysters; anchovies; pasta; corn; and green beans.

Cameron Community Ministries is in need of snacks for the youth program and canned goods.

The Oak Tree Food Pantry is seeking items for easy student preparation.

The Pittsford Food Cupboard, Cameron Community Ministries and the Oak Tree Food Pantry are among many organizations benefiting from Pittsford Rotary's mission of service.
