Saints Place provides household goods, clothing, and education to legal refugees of all races and creeds who settle in the Rochester, NY area to escape violence, discrimination and poverty.

The Rotary Club of Pittsford has done great work for Saints Place on the first Saturday of each month since October, with a recess in January.  Additionally, these generous Rotarians donated 15+ winter weather outer garments to clothe the refugees.  The Saints Place Board of Directors saluted the Club at their last meeting of 2014 for the impact the Rotarians have made in so short a time.

Last Saturday, February 7, Rotarians Dylan Brown, Taylor Soong, Matt O'Connor, Nat Garfield and Pete Crooker loaded linens into a van and furniture into a truck from a warehouse across the river from the U-of-R.   Then, they emptied both the van and truck at a two-bedroom apartment near Highland Hospital.  They finished around noontime making the beds and setting up the apartment.

The family of five (mother, father, grandmother, two children) moves into an apartment ready for  their use.
