There continues to be a lot happening behind the scenes in preparation for the 14th Annual Taste of Pittsford extravaganza thanks to Jim Murphy, Harold McAulliffe, Jeanne Strazzabosco, Lynn Freshman, Pam Wright and many others. Please be certain that you have signed up to play a role during the evening if you have not done so already. At today's meeting, a few more bottles of red and white wine were donated for auction baskets of our silent auction. Please continue to encourage everyone you know to attend.

Pat Mallery brought photos of the latest Interact Club activity.  This time, the Interact Club volunteers were dry and warm compared to when they dipped into the freezing waters of Lake Ontario at the 2017 Polar Plunge. Pete Crooker and Pat drove them to the Salem Nutrition Center.  There, they prepared and served lunch to the homeless. Exchange student Julie Poisson, and today's guest, Victoria Soong (daugher of Rotarian Grace Soong), were both volunteers at Salem.

We welcomed our guest speaker, veteran Alvin Herdklotz, who spoke about the history of the Rayson-Miller Post in the Town of Pittsford.
