Today's guest speaker is Amy Edwards who has been a very active volunteer at Dimitri House for 15 years. Joining the board in 2008 and recognizing the importance of the mission that serves over ten thousand inner city neighbors annually, Amy accepted the board presidency in 2013. Amy is a passionate advocate for inner city families and the homeless in our community. In her spare time Amy is a successful Senior Account Manager at Cisco Systems with a special place in her heart for diversity in engineering and women in technology programs. As a marathon runner and triathlete, Amy knows the meaning of being in it for the long haul.

Pat Mallery distributed a survey sheet that asks for your feedback about meeting time, date, program content, speakers, fellowship, service, and more.  If you missed this week's meeting, Pat will mail the survey form to you.  It will include a self addressed and stamped envelope and only takes less than 5 minutes of your time to complete.  We want you to attend Rotary weekly meetings, and we need to know what we can do to make that happen!

Whit Merrill attended his first District Assembly.  He was most excited about the Creative Programs session where the he learned of ways to make meeting programs exciting.  The success of a Rotary Club is largely dependent upon the quality of its weekly meeting programs. As VP for 2015-16, Whit will also be Program Chair of our Club. President Grace attended the Club President's session, whereas Bruce Spector and Gaven Hurley were both session trainees.
