Nov. 05, 2024 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
After four years of serving a drive-thru BBQ meal for our Election Night Supper, we’re returning this year to an in-house pasta supper at the Pittsford Mendon High School Commons. The Nov. 5 event runs from 5 to 7 p.m. at the school, 472 Mendon Rd. Take-out and drive-thru meal options will still be available with the same ticket, but the club is encouraging patrons to dine-in to encourage visitation. “We’re happily returning to our traditional dine-in event that we had transformed to a drive-thru supper during the pandemic,” said Kelly Cline, President of Pittsford Rotary. “We think gathering together for a meal makes it more of a community event. This long-standing tradition is one of our club’s most successful fundraisers and we cordially invite voters and their families to join us.”
Pittsford Rotarians will be serving generous helpings of pasta and sauce, meatballs, tossed salad, a breadstick, dessert and beverage. Barilla America is donating the pasta for the event and Pittsford Dairy is providing ice cream for dessert. “We appreciate the support of Barilla and Pittsford Dairy for this event,” said Event Coordinator Don Henderson. “It affirms their commitment to helping support the ongoing service we provide to strengthen our community.”
Tickets for the event are $15 for adults, $5 for children age 5-12, and free for children younger than 5. Veterans will eat free. Tickets are available online, from any Pittsford Rotarian or at the door. Funds benefit a wide range of local charities and community organizations such as the Pittsford Food Cupboard, Veterans Outreach Center, Pittsford Youth Services, and many more.

Jan. 04, 2025 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Our first drive-thru food drive for 2025 is scheduled Saturday (Jan. 4) from 9 am to noon at the Pittsford Sutherland High School bus loop. In addition to the Pittsford Food Cupboard, donations also will support Matthew’s Closet and the Nazareth University Oak Tree Food Pantry. Rotarians and Interact Club members will be collecting at the drive rain or shine. The Pittsford Food Cupboard plays a crucial role in addressing food insecurity within our community. Donations help ensure that local families have access to essential food items and will promote well-being and stability. See the cupboard’s list of current needs. The Oak Tree Pantry serves those with food insecurity in the Nazareth community. The pantry has an ongoing need for granola bars, pasta, peanut butter, soap and other hygiene products. |
