The Pittsford Halloween Festival is a good example of how the town and Rotary Club can work together to  benefit the entire community.
The fest is a fun family trick-or-treat alternative featuring games, crafts, activities, hay-ride, refreshments and an annual costume parade at 3:30 pm. Admission is free, however guests were asked to bring one canned food item per person to benefit the Pittsford Food Cupboard. It was held at St. John Fisher College last October 26 from 2:00-5:00 pm.

The Interact Club of Pittsford members treated goblins, ghosts and monsters with fun activities, prizes and candy. Whereas, Pittsford Rotarians accepted cash donations and "canned fees." They also supervised the wagon hay-rides, sorted and boxed the canned products.
Photos are of Rotarian Don Henderson (left) assisting guests at the wagon hayride, and guests lined up for games at the Interact station.
